General FAQ’s
What kind of creative services do you offer?
I offer a range of creative services aimed at start-ups and small-medium sized businesses. My main creative services include:
Where are you based?
I’m based in Hayle, Cornwall – which is located at the far South West of the UK.
Can we meet up to discuss my requirements in more detail?
If you live in Cornwall, meeting up to discuss your requirements is fairly straight forward – I can either travel to you, or you can travel to me.
If you live further afield, I’m happy to arrange a FaceTime or telephone call to discuss your requirements. I regularly work with clients from all over the world, so distance-working is not a problem.
How much experience do you have?
I’ve been working in the creative industry since 2001 – the same year in which I was still studying towards my degree in Photography & Design Communication.
My business started small, initially only offering surf photography. I worked hard and soon found myself dealing with some pretty big clients within the industry. It wasn’t long until I was taking commissions and travelling to various European surf destinations – capturing photographs for travel companies, magazines and other surf related publications.
As my portfolio developed, I started to photograph other subjects, including sports, property & interiors and food. At the same time, I was also developing my skills as a designer – creating web, print and digital based design work for start-ups and small-medium sized businesses throughout the UK.
Several years later, I’m pleased to offer my creative services to clients all over the world.
Graphic Design & Web Design FAQ’s
Do you offer web design?
Yes. I provide a range of web design options to suit every budget – from ‘off-the-shelf’ solutions to complete bespoke designs which meet your exact requirements.
If you’re concerned that you won’t be able to afford a professionally designed website, then I highly recommend that you still get in touch, as I may be able to offer some suggestions which could help to make things a little more affordable.
If you design my website, will I be able to manage the content myself?
It depends on the type of website I design for you. If you’ve opted for a content managed website, it will typically be built into a content management system called WordPress. WordPress allows you to update the content on your website yourself – quickly and easily!
Should you need it, I can also provide training and support to help you get to grips with using WordPress.
Can you design e-commerce websites?
Yes. I can design e-commerce websites which provide all of the usual features and functions which you’d expect – including stock management, online payments and customer account areas.

How will I receive the images which you capture for me?
All of the images which I capture on an editorial or commercial photography assignment are captured in a high-quality RAW digital format.
Once the photography assignment is complete, these RAW images are processed using professional photo editing software. All images are individually checked for sharpness, contrast and colour balance. Once complete, the images are exported to a more user-friendly format, such as high-resolution jpg image files. These jpg image files are then made available for you to download.
Can I use the images which you capture for me for any purpose?
When you hire me for an editorial or commercial photography assignment, you’ll also receive a Project Specification document. This document clearly states who may use the captured images, and for what purpose they may be used.
